Sir Terry Pratchett
Terry Pratchett writes humorous fantasy best know for his Discworld series. Discworld is a flat disc that rests on the back of the four great elephants Berilia, Tubul, Greate T’Phon and Jerakeen who stand on the Great A’Tuin the turtle. The first book in this series that I read was Small Gods which tells the tale of what happens to a God when he/she/it is down to its last believer. The first book in the series, The Color of Magic has been resently re-released.
