L293D Motor Driver Shield for Arduino top view
Top down view of the L293D Motor Shield. It can control four DC motors powered by an external power source that is independent of the Arduino. Two servo motors can be plugged into this board and their signal pin connected to the Pins 9 10 on the Arduino. The six analog pins on the Arduino are also available through the L293D with the addition of three sets of pin headers soldered to the board; one set for the actual analog pins and the other two sets for power and ground. Note that the analog pins A0 to A5 can be used as Digital Pins 14 to 19.
