Larry Niven best know work is probably his Ringworld series. Most of his stories take place in Known Space, including Ringworld, Ringworld Engineers and Ringworld Throne. Larry Niven has written many short stories. One of my favorites is Man of Steel, Woman of Kleenex, published in the book All the Myriad Ways, deals with Superman’s reproduction problems with earth women.
Some of Larry Niven’s work has been used used for television. I remember one particular episode of Star Trek Log (the Animated Series) where Mr. Spock played the role of the Pierson’s Puppeteers in an episode called Slaver Weapon. Two other stories of Larry Niven were also used in Star Trek Log (the Animated Series). One of his stories, Inconstant Moon, from the book All the Myriad Ways was turned into an Outer Limits episode.
