Sugar Glider Projects – Climbing Vines
Climbing Vines are relatively simple to make. Basically multiple layers of fleece are sewn together up the middle of the longer dimension with clasps sewn in at both ends. Once sewn, cut the fringe. My first climbing vine is shown in the photo. It consisted of four layers of fleece, alternating green and purple. It was suppose to be 36 inches long but due to my sewing abilities that only begin a few months ago, it ended up being 34 inches. I was not careful enough when sewing to compensate for the stretching of the fleece. The difference of 2 inches did not really matter in this case so it worked out fine.
